Bar Foods is recruiting an interim Factory Accountant for a fixed-term project-based role.

Working as part of a small team reporting to the Finance Director, this position will involve:

• Undertaking key project work to include the production of weekly factory performance statements to assist in driving efficiency improvements.
• Developing and managing the costing system
• Review standard vs actual cost
• Analyse margins by products and division
• Stock valuation & Investigation of stock variances
• Supporting in the budget/forecast process
• Analyse capital budgeting requests

The successful applicant will have a strong manufacturing background, ideally with experience of working within a food manufacturing organisation, together with excellent costing/analysis experience, strong analytical skills and Excel.

Highly developed communication skills and emotional resilience are essential.

A QBE or part qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant would be considered.

Regular attendance on-site is a requirement of this position.
