Corporate Responsibility

BAR Foods has an ongoing commitment to creating a positive impact on the local and global environment. In order to achieve this there is a company wide ethos in conducting business in an ethical, social and environmentally responsible way. There are a range of activities and measures that are ongoing below are a few examples:

Environment - BAR is actively working on improving our effects on the environment. A wide program of activities have been tntroduced which include onsite compactors for carboard, onsite paper recycling units, water recycling activities and can recycling facilities are a few of the current initatives with many more being explored.

Charity - As a company we are commited to working with and supporting a number of charities. We have choosen to support one local charity and one national charity. LATCH a voluntary organisation set up to support the special requirements of the children's oncology centre in Wales which is based at the Children's Hospital for Wales to help affected families and promote research in childhood cancer. We also support Cancer Research UK, a charity which has touched and supported some members of our organisation.
