Following five years of major growth, Bar Foods has restructured its management team in readiness for the next stage of the company’s expansion strategy.

The current sales and marketing director Aisling Kemp has been promoted to managing director. Nick Taylor continues as finance director and Bill Beaumont becomes operations director. The new structure takes effect from 1 February. click here

Triple win at the BFFF awards for BAR Foods | Jun 11

BAR are delighted to have been awarded 3 Silver awards at this years ceremony. The evening started with a win for a Beef Stew & cheese Cobbler which received silver for the Best New Main Course/Meal Centre Product in the Traditional-style Cuisine, rapidly followed by a win in the same award under the International cuisine banner for our Chicken & Spinach Pasta which was given a "Wow" by all the Judges. The final award was for Mulled wine fruit compote, this was given recognition for the product taste and innovation. It is a great achievement for the whole team at BAR Foods, providing well deserved recognition for not only our highly skilled chef-team who create the dishes, but also our factory for producing consistently quality products for the foodservice industry.

BAR Foods Launch Mixed Soup Case | Sep 09

BAR Foods have launched a Chefs’ Selection Soup Box, which is a mixed soup case with fantastic benefits for today’s busy Kitchens. The frozen soups are individually portioned with 18 months shelf life. The box is one price and not bespoke creating no stock liability to the customer. The flavours have been developed to follow seasonal ingredients and takes into consideration end consumers’ tastes.  Within the box there are 3 soup flavours, one of which will always be tomato. BFFF Sucess for BAR Foods Products | Jul 09

BAR Foods are celebrating their recent success at the British Frozen Food Federation 2009 Annual awards, where they scooped 2 bronze awards.

The first within the Best New Multi-Portion Product for Lamb Tagine supplied to Ikea Restaurants. The second in the Best New Accompaniment / Potato / Vegetable Product for Onion Marmalade, this is supplied to the Table Table pub restaurant chain operated by Whitbread.

BPEX Sucess for BAR Foods Products | Feb 09

BAR are proud to announce they have a Gold Medal for our "Pork Steak in a creamy mushroom, bacon and tarragon sauce" in the Best Pork ready meal category. Also within the same catefory our "Smoked Chilli Pork Belly" was awarded the Silver Medal. The BPEX (British Pork executive) foodservice awards is providing great recognition for Pork products within the foodservice arena. Our Pork Sage and Onion Pate has been entered as one of the final 3 in the Pork Product of the Year 2009, the winner will be announced on March the 10th so fingers crossed for BAR.

BFFF success second year in succession | June 08

BAR Foods are celebrating their recent success at the British Frozen Food Federation 2008 Annual awards. The company scooped 2 bronze awards, the first within the Best New accompaniment/potato/vegetable product for their Ratatouille and the second in the Best New Meat Free/Vegetarian product for their Quorn chilli. Both products are supplied to Whitbread and feature on core menus within the estate.

Bar & Restaurant Foods was born in 1987 and 20 years on is proud to be a leading supplier of quality sauces, soups and ready meals.

Over the 20 years Bar & Restaurant Foods has seen many changes in the eating out market but the old classic favourites such as Peppercorn sauce and Diane sauce remain top sellers.

Our individually portioned Chicken Liver Pate with Scottish Heather Honey has won the Gold award in the Best New Starter/Buffet/Appetiser Product at the British Frozen Food Federation Annual Awards held in London on June 14th 2007.
