The current sales and marketing director Aisling Kemp has been promoted to managing director. Nick Taylor continues as finance director and Bill Beaumont becomes operations director. To read more click here Triple win at the BFFF awards for BAR Foods | Jun 11 BAR are delighted to have been awarded 3 Silver awards at this years ceremony. The evening started with a win for a Beef Stew & cheese Cobbler which received silver for the Best New Main Course/Meal Centre Product in the Traditional-style Cuisine, rapidly followed by a win in the same award under the International cuisine banner for our Chicken & Spinach Pasta which was given a "Wow" by all the Judges. The final award was for Mulled wine fruit compote, this was given recognition for the product taste and innovation. It is a great achievement for the whole team at BAR Foods, providing well deserved recognition for not only our highly skilled chef-team who create the dishes, but also our factory for producing consistently quality products for the foodservice industry. The frozen soups are individually portioned with 18 months shelf life. The box is one price and not bespoke creating no stock liability to the customer. The first within the Best New Multi-Portion Product for Lamb Tagine supplied to Ikea Restaurants. The second in the Best New Accompaniment / Potato / Vegetable Product for Onion Marmalade, this is supplied to the Table Table pub restaurant chain operated by Whitbread. BPEX Sucess for BAR Foods Products | Feb 09 BAR are proud to announce they have a Gold Medal for our "Pork Steak in a creamy mushroom, bacon and tarragon sauce" in the Best Pork ready meal category. Also within the same catefory our "Smoked Chilli Pork Belly" was awarded the Silver Medal. Over the 20 years Bar & Restaurant Foods has seen many changes in the eating out market but the old classic favourites such as Peppercorn sauce and Diane sauce remain top sellers.
