Awards so Far 2008....

2007 was a fantastic year for BAR Foods on the industry awards circuit. With a gold and bronze award in the BFFF, two silver awards in the BPEX and supplier of the year with Papa Johns. So far in 2008 BAR Foods has won 2 British Pig Executive (BPEX) awards, which are:

Gold Medal—the Best Pork Ready Meal Category for our BBQ Pulled Pork

Gold Medal—the Best Cold eating product category for our Farmhouse Pate with Apple and Cider

Tony Goodger, BPEX foodservice trade manager said “Our congratulations go to BAR Foods and its success in what was a very tough competition; their Farmhouse Pate with Apple & Cider received high praise from the judges.”

“The BPEX Foodservice Pork Product of the Year competition is only in its second year but it has already grown in prominence. The quality of products submitted this year was superb and all of the finalists must be congratulated for their efforts.”

This is the first of a number of awards that BAR Foods have entered this year so fingers crossed for a few more trophies!!
